Through the use of axis restricted bone scaling, scale values could affect the root system, targeted chains of the hierarchy as well as top level muscle scalers.
A global scaler at the base 0,0,0 location is used to control the overall height of the player.
Muscle scalers in the thighs, upper and lower arms, amd the chest are skinned in to add bulk without deforming the hierarchy.
Certain adjustments were set to affect multiple bones and isolate each scale to a percentage of influence as well as isolating specific axis scaling.
Root bones in key locations of the head are used to deform the overall shape of the head while more specific bone placements were used to target specific facial features.
It was also decided to be able to alter the skin tone to the players preference.
